This Healthy Salmon Lasagna can absolutely upgrade your normal week-day meal to a special one. The main ingredient used in this Lasagna is Salmon which is a great source of protein and tastes perfect with the white sauce recipe.
The preparation is very easy and the ingredients will not cost you that much. In fact, one serving will only cost you $4.90! But for this recipe, it makes a total of 4 servings and that should cost you not more than $25.
You will be needing high-quality Glass Food Storage Containers for this specific recipe because we will be cooking the lasagna inside the oven. We used a medium size Glass Container where we assembled the ingredients.
For the first layer, place the defrosted Spinach. There are many ways to thaw frosted Spinach. One easy way is to put it in a mesh strainer and run it under very warm water.
Carefully, check for icy chunks of spinach and break them apart with your fingers. Once properly rinsed and the Spinach is in good texture, grab a handful and gently squeeze the water out back over the strainer. It’s absolutely necessary to make the spinach appropriately dry and no dripping water because it may affect the consistency of the white sauce.
Scatter evenly the defrosted Spinach then add the Feta Cheese to add flavor and it’s also a healthy source of protein. Feel free to add more depending on the taste you would like to create for your Lasagna.
Add white sauce and spread it evenly using the back of a spoon. Make sure not to add so much white sauce because you will be needing sauce for the final top layer as well.
Top it with one lasagna sheet. There are varieties of lasagna sheets you can try such as Oven Ready Lasagna, Gluten-free Oven Ready lasagna, Wavy Lasagna, Whole Grain Lasagna and there are more.
Add the Salmon filling as the main stuff. Check the instructions below for the detailed steps on how to make it.
Add the last layer of lasagna sheet.
Cover the last layer of lasagna sheet with white sauce. Spread evenly.
Then, sprinkle it with grated cheese. Repeat the same steps until all the ingredients are all used.
Approximately, you should be able to make 4 meals. That is why it’s very important that you evenly divide the ingredients to make sure that every meal has all the flavors.
Cover the Glass Food Storage Containers and store them in the fridge as your future meal.
To serve, bake for 40 minutes at 350℉ or 180℃.
