This strawberry muffin recipe is packed with delightful flavours that you will surely enjoy and it only takes about 35 – 40 minutes to make 6 muffins, not to mention that it is very nutritious and good for you!
For this recipe, I used bananas, strawberries, cocoa powder, rolled oats, vanilla extract, baking powder, and honey as a natural sweetener. All these ingredients could be easily bought at your local health markets, and the best part is you don’t need to use any artificial flavours or sugars.

Ingredients
- 2 Whole Bananas (240g / 8.4oz)
- Strawberries (100g / 3.5oz)
- 2 Eggs (88g/ 3.1oz)
- Honey (1tbsp)
- Vanilla Extract (1tbsp)
- Baking Powder (2tbsp)
- Cocoa Powder (2tbsp)
- Rolled Oats (180g / 6.3oz)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C.
- Place the bananas and the strawberries into a mixing bowl and mash to a paste.
- Add the eggs, honey, vanilla extract, baking powder and cocoa powder then mix until all the ingredients have combined.
- Add the wholegrain rolled oats and mix well.
- Grease the muffin tray with butter and distribute the mix on the moulds evenly. Top the muffin mix with strawberry slices.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Let the muffins rest for about 10 minutes after baking then serve and enjoy!
