Apple Dessert for Halloween – Monster Apple Bites

Here’s an apple dessert that is quick and easy to make treat which is perfect for Halloween Parties. This healthy fruit recipe is gluten-free, has no allergens or nuts or soya and it will surely bring the kid back out of you and your kids will love them.

Ingredients

  • Green Apples Quartered
  • Peanut Butter No Added Salt and Sugar
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Strawberry Slices
  • Candy Eyes Homemade or store-bought

Directions

  1. Slice apples into quarters. Cut the middles out of each quarter of the apple to create a mouth.
  2. Spread Peanut Butter inside of the “mouth”
  3. Place 4 sunflower seeds on the top of the “mouth” for the teeth.
  4. Place 1 sliced strawberry inside the “mouth” of the tongue.
  5. “Glue” each eye above the mouth with a dab of Peanut butter to stick.
  6. Have a fun game and serve!

NOTES

STEPS HOW TO MAKE CANDY EYES
  1. Melt white Chocolate in microwave.
  2. Using a spoon, scoop a small amount of white chocolate, drop a little and make a shape of small round “white balls” into a tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. Place one small dark chocolate chip in the middle of the “white ball”.
  4. Put in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from the freezer and design your desserts!
